Online Accountant Advice on Making Tax Digital (MTD)

Making Tax Digital (MTD) is a recently-introduced measure from HMRC to bring VAT accounting online. Over 2.5 million VAT-registered businesses in the UK are now required to complete VAT returns digitally, with plans to further extend MTD to Income Tax and Corporation Tax now imminent.

The main advantage of Making Tax Digital is that it provides an efficient way of storing, submitting and accessing financial data. As beneficial as MTD will be in the long-run, many businesses are still struggling with the practical application of online accountancy to their business.

Businesses are in a position where they must seek appropriate accounting software, acquire the skills needed in order to use the software, negotiate the complexities of new reporting periods and learn how to work digitally with international suppliers and partners

If you or your staff are not well-versed in the use of such software, Accounted Chartered Accountants are here to provide you with full support to get you on your way. We will assist you in any way that you require, from training your staff to taking on the full responsibility of your business’ tax and accounting. We work closely with every client as an individual, getting to know the people behind the company as well as the numbers driving it, and are proud to offer a service that is ‘exceptional as standard’, no matter how small or large your business’ needs.
